The aim of the project is trying to introduce the historical water structures an applicable option toward sustainable development through the reduction of dependency to sea water desalination plants. The main property of Qeshm Island is the availability of these structures. Therefore, the target group of the project can be divided into three scales including local, national, and international.

Local scale: Local communities which are using the collected water of the structures for drinking. There would be an especial attention to the transformation of conservation culture of freshwater to youth.

National and international scale: The presentation of historical water structures as efficient rainwater harvesting utilities to managers as a sustainable policy instead of sea water desalination.
